You may want to use a program for video editing. I use Windows Movie Maker. It serves perfectly for all the basic tasks that need video creators like me who have other goals than to become Hollywood stars. If you use Windows, you already have it installed.
Step 2: Choose an online video platform
The best-known online video platform is YouTube. A good alternative may be Dailymotion. Both give you the opportunity to upload your videos for free and monetize them.
Which one to choose?
- The biggest advantage of YouTube lies in its large user base. Therefore, your videos can be found by many people thanks to its internal search. On the other hand, they will not allow you to start monetizing your videos right away. You have to wait until they have more than 10,000 views.
- Dailymotion does not have as many users, however, you can start monetizing your videos from the first moment. In addition, it offers the possibility to make money with videos created by other authors.
Step 3: Monetize your video
Upload your video to the platform you have chosen in the previous step. In the settings look for the option to monetize your videos. Follow the instructions on the page until the monetization is enabled.
Ads will be shown on your video. The online video platform charges advertisers for it and a portion of the revenue will pay you.
Step 4: Double your income with your blog
On pages like YouTube there are millions of videos. So why wait for someone to find yours?
